The chassis is a fully triangulated steel space frame, designed by qualified structural engineers to provide a stiff and strong structure capable of withstanding a torsional strength of more than 2,500 Nm per degree. Various designs of Roll Protection Bars are available as optional extras.

2.0 liter 4 cylinder rear located Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC) Ford Zetec, transversely mounted and mated to a 5 speed transmission. Stock power plant delivers 130hp but with Ford Motorsports head and cams, engine can be tuned to 200 hp or more. At this level the power to weight ratio is 5.5lbs/per hp (or 363hp per ton or 400hp per tonne). This equates to 0-60 times of 3.8 seconds and a top speed in excess of 140 mph.
Other power plants such as the 4 cylinder Ford Duratec and Honda Vetec can be installed and the rear frame can be fabricated to accept these engines.
